A 2-way breeching inlet is used by fire brigade personnel to access water. It's usually dry, but can be charged with water using fire fighting equipment. Breeching inlets are installed in buildings at dry risers. They're located outside the building or in any easily accessible area. They should be within 18 meters of the fire engine accessway or road, and visible from the adjacent accessway.
